2017 | Hungary, Szeged
Given the size and technological requirements, ELI-ALPS laser center is a very special project for our company. We have created one of the largest cleanrooms in Europe that is used for research internationally. Szeged, a city in southern Hungary, gives home to the research center and many experiments with attosecond laser light sources. Our 3600 m2 cleanroom is a complex system of different technologies. Interestingly, given the optical requirements of laser research, the surface of the wall structure is designed to reduce reflection, increasing the effectiveness of laser experiments. The cleanroom is built in accordance with ISO 14644-1, whereby the particle concentration of air is graded, and appropriate air quality is continuously monitored at sampling points.
